This Tuscan villa-style home in Pasadena has been a star of movies, TV, print ads and events, including a Pasadena Heritage Tour.

Designed by Frank M. Tyler and built in 1911, the house was originally owned by a director of Citizens Savings Bank in Pasadena. It’s now owned by an interior designer and his wife, who plan to downsize because their children are grown.

“Mr. Wrong,” starring Ellen DeGeneres, “The Tie That Binds,” starring Keith Carradine and Daryl Hannah, and “Murder She Wrote” with Angela Lansbury are just a few of the movies and TV shows filmed in the house, which has had more than a dozen celebrity visitors over the years. Among them: Jodie Foster, Michael J. Fox, James Earl Jones, James Coburn, Kevin Costner and Bruce Springsteen, who was photographed in the home by Annie Leibovitz for an album cover.
