Publicist Grubman Begins 60-Day Jail Term

Publicist-to-the-stars Lizzie Grubman began serving a 60-day jail sentence for backing her Mercedes-Benz sport-utility vehicle into a crowd of people outside a Hamptons nightclub in summer 2001. Sixteen people were injured.
Grubman, 31, pleaded guilty to a felony charge of leaving the scene of an accident and a misdemeanor assault charge. The judge sentenced her to 60 days in jail, 280 hours of community service and five years’ probation.
