It all begins with a workout

This DJ’s latest album, “Phonosynthesis,” has been on Billboard’s Electronic Album chart for months. ClubNation 2002’s just named her National DJ of the Year. And Saturday she headlines the Monster Massive Halloween 2002 extravaganza at the Sports Arena.

Body and soul

My weekends start on Sunday or Monday. I like to wake up late. And I work out every day that I’m not traveling. I meet my personal trainer at Bally’s in Hollywood. After I work out, I go to the Paint Shop off Robertson for a manicure and pedicure. They put lemons and spices in the water. I mean, you can have a margarita pedicure! Then I have my eyebrows done at Valerie’s in Beverly Hills--got to get that arch!

Getting my grub

After that, I like to go eat. My favorite places and meals are: Mondrian’s on Sunset -- Tuna Picas are like marinated tuna on a wonton chip with hot chili sauce; Murakakami’s on Santa Monica -- It’s the best sushi in L.A.! Metropol on 3rd downtown -- they make these sandwiches and it takes time to bake the bread. Sometimes I ask them, “Hey, where’s my sandwich?” But they’re good.

Shopoholic vibe

Then I go shopping at the Beverly Center or at Gucci, or at Hugo Boss--I’m a big fan. And I like Prada Sports at Barney’s, if I can find my size. I like Monge downtown L.A. for my custom stuff.

Yeah, baby!

I love watching movies at the Chinese 6 in Hollywood. They have a VIP section with really big chairs and they bring the popcorn and soda right to you. I can sit there and watch a movie over and over again.

I’m a big James Bond fan. I’m a huge fan of Sean Connery. I have most of the Bond movies and all of the soundtracks on DVD and CD. Oh yeah, I’m really looking forward to seeing “Goldmember.” The movie’s club scene was filmed at the Arena where I worked for so many years.

Afternoons I might go to the Rooftop at the Standard Hotel on 6th. They’ve got couches like waterbeds -- maybe five people can climb into them and get their drink on -- it’s so Austin Powers. The last time I was there, everybody was dancing -- Ben Stiller was there.

Back to the crib

Sometimes, I just want to be home watching a DVD and taking a break from all of the touring -- I’ve been to Amsterdam, Costa Rica and all over the United States.
