Keep Closer Tabs on Child Care Agencies

Re “Agency Lost Contact on 3,000 Kids, It Says,” October 13:

It is unbelievable that child care agencies have lost contact with 3,000 kids. That just goes to show that they are not doing their job and the government should check their work more often. Social workers should be a little more careful about where they place kids and who they place people with, because those people may not always be the right parents for some kids.
