Man Killed, 2 Injured in Collision
Fountain Valley police are investigating an auto-truck collision that left a 30-year-old Westminster man dead and two others injured Saturday.
The dead man was identified as Quan Nguyen, a passenger in the auto, police said.
The car was westbound on Edinger Avenue when an eastbound pickup turned onto Ward Street. The vehicles collided head-on in the intersection, said Sgt. Kevin Thomas of the Fountain Valley police.
The drivers of the auto, a 34-year-old Westminster resident, and the pickup, a 20-year-old Fountain Valley resident, were taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange with serious injuries.
Police would not release their names Sunday. The collision is under investigation, police said.
