Mass World War II Grave Is Found
From Times Wire Reports
A mass grave with the remains of up to 12,000 people killed during World War II has been found in Belarus.
The grave is on a military base in Slutsk, nearly 60 miles south of the capital, Minsk, said Leonid Zakharenko of the Defense Ministry. Residents told officials that Nazis executed Jews from Slutsk and prisoners from a nearby concentration camp at the site from 1942 to 1944.
