At Least 10 Killed in Pirates’ Gunfight

A gunfight between two rival pirate groups over a cargo of salt left at least 10 people dead, police in Bangladesh said.
The fight erupted when about 30 pirates on two speedboats raced to raid a cargo boat near Kutubdia Island, 185 miles southeast of the capital, Dhaka. The cargo boat’s crew jumped overboard and swam ashore. The bodies of 10 pirates were found on shore.
