Reno’s Florida Loss
Former U.S. Atty. Gen. Janet Reno’s loss to attorney Bill McBride in Florida’s Democratic gubernatorial primary (Sept. 18) is less likely the result of ballot irregularities than Florida’s distaste for midnight raids by jackbooted thugs with submachine guns carrying off small children (Elian Gonzalez). I’m glad Reno is reaping what she sowed.
