‘Barbershop’ Trims the Newcomers
Weekend Box Office
MGM’s urban comedy “Barbershop” grossed $12.8 million to remain atop the box office chart for the second consecutive weekend.
“The Banger Sisters” debuted with $10 million, but a trio of other newcomers turned in lackluster results. “Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever” grossed $7 million; “The Four Feathers,” $6.9 million; and “Trapped,” an anemic $3.2 million.
