Lunchtime Concerts to Feature Master Chorale
Three lunchtime concerts are planned in downtown Ventura over the next several months.
The first half-hour Town Concert, at 12:15 p.m. Friday, will be on the patio of the Museum of History and Art, 100 E. Main St., featuring harpist Marcia Dickstein.
The Ventura Master Chorale and instrumentalists, under the direction of Burns Taft, will perform the works of composer Ross Care at the free events, funded in part by a grant from the city.
Beverages and cookies will be served in celebration of California Arts Day.
The audience is invited to bring bag lunches.
