Army Medics Train at Trauma Center

Half a world away from Baghdad, the injuries from stabbings, beatings and gunshots treated at a Miami trauma center may come as close as anything military doctors might see in Iraq.

Since January 2002, the Army has sent nearly 300 doctors, nurses and medics to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital to work alongside their civilian counterparts.
