Madonna’s video

Regarding Madonna’s decision to not air her new antiwar video, die-hard Dixie Chicks fans might say she chickened out (“Madonna Pulls Antiwar Video,” April 2).

While the Dixie Chicks’ last song may be their swan song (at least as far as my ears are concerned), Madonna has learned the art of survival. She has “shocked and awed” us in the past, but thank God she has finally begun to show a little restraint, a little sensitivity toward our troops, and a little respect for our commander in chief.
