Station Burns Despite Firefighters’ Best Efforts

Volunteer firefighters grabbed garden hoses but couldn’t stop flames from gutting their firehouse in the desert town of Cal Nev Ari.
“They did what they could, but all their equipment was in the building,” Clark County fire spokesman Bob Leinbach said.
No one was hurt in the fire, which investigators think started inside the station.
