From Times Wire Reports

Two of the five aircraft carriers in the Persian Gulf and the Mediterranean are likely to leave soon, although U.S. Central Command chief Army Gen. Tommy Franks has not yet approved the moves, said Vice Adm. Timothy Keating, who oversees naval operations for the Iraq war. The Kitty Hawk could return as soon as this week to Yokosuka, Japan, he said, and the Constellation could return to San Diego soon thereafter.
