Bank Robber Confesses to 23 Other Heists
From Times Wire Reports
An employee of the U.S. Postal Service pleaded guilty to robbing four New Jersey banks -- and then surprised the judge by owning up to 23 other robberies in four additional states.
At his hearing, Cazzie Williams, 30, pleaded guilty to the New Jersey robberies, and then admitted to 23 others from 1998 to 2002 in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland and Virginia.
At his August sentencing, he will face a maximum of 20 years on each of the four counts.
