From Times Wire Reports

Rep. Christopher Shays (R-Conn.) crossed the border into Iraq and complained that humanitarian aid isn’t getting to the Iraqi people fast enough. Shays traveled with a convoy of aid workers from the Connecticut-based charity Save the Children.

Aid groups are frustrated, he said, because they are being constrained by the military due to security concerns, and their access has been limited to the port city of Umm al Qasr. Shays said he plans hearings on the issue when he returns to the U.S.
