Woman’s place(s)

I found Anne-Marie O’Connor’s article (“A Woman’s Place ... ,” April 13) biased and misleading. A woman’s place is not necessarily leading antiwar protests. Ask any of the dozens of women I know across the country who are leading Support the Troops/Pro-USA rallies.
Who are the organizers of our events? Aging female baby boomers from the Vietnam protest era, young military wives, recent college graduates, single moms. What do we have in common? A strong belief in our country, in our soldiers and in their mission. We aren’t funded, we aren’t sponsored, and we sure don’t want to get lumped together with some archaic view of how society or the world operates and what the female role should be regarding the subject of war.
