Adolf Hitler’s last days in the Berlin bunker before his suicide and Nazi Germany’s collapse will be the topic of a German movie due out next year, a producer said.

“We are making a grand, epic feature film,” the film’s producer, Bernd Eichinger, told reporters. “Authenticity is the top priority.”

Bruno Ganz will play Hitler. Juliane Koehler, who starred in the Oscar-winning Holocaust drama “Nowhere in Africa,” will play Hitler’s companion, Eva Braun. The $14.6-million production will be filmed in Berlin, Munich and St. Petersburg.
