From Times Wire Reports
President Heydar A. Aliyev collapsed twice and reportedly struck his head during a speech in Baku, alarming many in the audience. His office said later the 79-year-old leader was feeling fine after a sudden drop in blood pressure.
Aliyev returned to the rostrum after falling, witnesses said. A live broadcast of the speech was interrupted when the falls occurred. Aliyev had a heart attack in 1987 and underwent bypass surgery in 1999.
