He covers Iraq for the Pentagon
Producer Bertram van Munster merely had Defense Department cooperation on his last TV series, ABC’s “Profiles from the Front Line,” about U.S. troops in Afghanistan. Now he’s got two film crews and a still photographer following the soldiers in Iraq, but this time for the Defense Department.
Van Munster’s Profiles Television Productions is shooting material that will be used by the department for briefings and historical archives, a spokesman for the producer said. No decision has been made yet about whether any of the footage will be utilized for TV programming, he said.
