* Jay Rasulo, president of Walt Disney Co.’s parks and resorts unit, has been appointed to the newly created United States Travel and Tourism Promotion Advisory Board. The 15-member board will advise Commerce Secretary Don Evans on how best to increase the number of foreign visitors to the U.S. This year President Bush agreed to allocate $50 million for a campaign to boost tourism to the U.S., which has fallen sharply since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

* AOL Time Warner Inc. reached a four-year, $115-million agreement with CareerBuilder.com that replaces a contract with Monster.com to provide job listings to America Online customers.

* Tommy Hilfiger Corp. named former Lands’ End Inc. Chief Executive David Dyer as the clothing maker’s president and CEO. Dyer, 54, succeeds Joel Horowitz, who remains chairman of Hilfiger.

* The University of California asked a state court to reconsider a July ruling forcing the university to release the performance of its private equity investments, saying disclosure could limit its ability to invest in such funds.

* Audible Inc., an online provider of audio books, magazines and newspapers, said it received a $6-million investment from Apax Partners Holdings Ltd. and Bertelsmann.
