Boeing Co. won’t take any financial charges from the U.S. Air Force’s shift of rocket-launch business to Lockheed Martin Corp., said Jim Albaugh, chief executive of Boeing’s Integrated Defense Systems business.

The launches were worth $600 million out of Boeing’s $27 billion a year in business, he said.

The U.S. Air Force last month stripped seven launches from Chicago-based Boeing’s schedule after some of its employees were found to have proprietary documents from Lockheed Martin while competing against it for a contract.

Boeing is considering whether to remain in the rocket-launch business, Albaugh said.
