Jerry Baruch’s take on opening weekend box office numbers for “Seabiscuit” [Viewpoint, Aug. 2] missed by a mile. If he had given the figures more than a cursory look, he’d see that “Seabiscuit” opened at the fewest theaters and produced the highest dollar intake per theater. The film was definitely on the boards, but I can’t say the same thing for Mr. Baruch’s handicapping.
