787 Felony Charges in Crematory Case

A crematory operator, accused last year of taking money for cremations and dumping more than 330 bodies on his property, was indicted by a grand jury.
Ray Brent Marsh is the operator of the Tri-State Crematory in Noble, 100 miles northwest of Atlanta. He faces 787 felony counts.
They are 122 counts of burial service fraud, 47 counts of making false statements, 179 counts of abuse of a dead body and 439 counts of theft by taking, Walker County Superior Court Clerk Bill McDaniel said.
