Nearly a million Swedes -- or one in nine -- watched the premiere of Ingmar Bergman’s made-for-television movie “Saraband,” Swedish network SVT reported.

Bergman, 85, has said the family drama is his last filmed work.

“Saraband,” starring Liv Ullmann and Erland Josephson, aired Monday. They reprised their roles from Bergman’s previous TV series, “Scenes From a Marriage,” which was released as a feature film in 1974.
