Re “Civilian Toll Not U.S. Fault, Afghans Say,” Dec. 11: Terrorism is terrorism, especially in the killing of children by U.S. military forces in Afghanistan. Now the U.S. and its puppet Afghan officials, in effect, blame the children killed by U.S. military forces for being in a house full of weapons. How can children be blamed for situations beyond their control? The killing of these children should be considered an immoral war crime -- as should the stupid explanation given for it.
