Skid row is divided like any small town. The west draws alcoholics, with its dark old bars and cramped liquor stores. Hotels along Main and Los Angeles streets house families, drug dealers and prostitutes. Moving east, 5th and Crocker streets is a hub of the cocaine trade, as is San Julian between 6th and 7th streets.
