United Blood Services Requesting Donations

United Blood Services, the nonprofit blood provider for the eight hospitals in Ventura County, needs donations.
The bank, whose donations have dropped because of the current cold and flu season, needs to increase its stock before the holidays, Patty Hunt of United Blood Services said. The bank is requesting donations from healthy people ages 17 and up.
