Niagara Falls Plunge Survivor Is Fined
From Times Wire Reports
A Michigan man who survived an unprotected plunge over Niagara Falls on Oct. 20 was fined $2,260 by an Ontario court and ordered to stay out of Niagara Park for a year. Kirk Jones, charged with mischief and illegally performing a stunt, has been free on bail since his arrest. Jones is the only person known to have survived the trip without a barrel, life jacket or other device.
“All my problems were left at the bottom of that gorge,” said Jones, 41. He has joined a circus in Texas.
