Joint Operation Arrests 9 Drug Suspects
From Times Wire Reports
U.S., Mexican and Colombian police have arrested nine men suspected of running the main distribution platform for Colombian drugs in Mexico.
The raids cut off one of the main sources of supply for Mexican drug lords, said Mexico’s top organized crime prosecutor, Jose Santiago Vasconcelos.
Most of the drugs apparently were sent to Mexico for shipment to the U.S. market. Five Colombians, one Venezuelan and three Mexicans were arrested.
