Three men accused of a West Hollywood robbery and bat-wielding assault could face life in prison after prosecutors filed a new complaint charging them with aggravated mayhem.

Prosecutors decided to add the charge after the victim, actor Trev Broudy, disclosed the full extent of his injuries last month at a hearing for the three defendants, said Jane Robison of the district attorney’s office. Torwin Sessions, 19; Larry Walker, 29; and Vincent Dotson, 18, had faced maximum penalties of 19, 16 and six years, respectively.
