CBS to run Saddam Q
In an interview to be broadcast on CBS’ “60 Minutes II” at 9 tonight, Iraqi President Saddam Hussein says his government has no relationship with the terrorist Al Qaeda network and that his country has no weapons of mass destruction.
The interview was conducted on Sunday by Tony Benn, identified by CBS as a retired British lawmaker and antiwar activist. The network said it marked Hussein’s first Western television interview in more than a decade.
