As a former daily newspaper writer, just wanted to say I loved the Single in the City column (“On Next Trip, Check Emotional Baggage,” Jan. 30). And as a gay man, who tends to overpack, it had special resonance. The emotional angle was great. Keep revealing the soul of L.A.
