Skeletal Remains May Be Those of Hiker

Coroner’s officials are investigating the discovery of human skeletal remains in a remote spot near Point Vicente Lighthouse, authorities said Thursday.
A pair of hikers stumbled onto the remains about 6 p.m. Wednesday. The remains may be those of an unidentified female hiker who fell and died of her injuries, a sheriff’s deputy said.
