Don’t Give Him Ideas

From the Morning Briefing of Feb. 4: “Trivia time: What are the only two days of the year when no games will be scheduled by any of the four major pro sports, baseball, football, basketball and hockey?”

The Times considers hockey a major sport, yet usually puts the Kings stories on page 5 or deeper, and the Ducks not much higher? Good grief! If Bill Dwyre considered hockey any more minor than he clearly does, the stories would be on the back of an 8 1/2 x11 advertising sheet.
