FOR THE RECORDS: Much will be made of Meryl Streep’s becoming the most-nominated actor in Oscar history with her best supporting actress nod for “Adaptation.” The nomination gives Streep 13 for her career, one more than Katharine Hepburn. But that’s still 47 fewer than Walt Disney, who is the most nominated person in Oscar history, with 60 in competitive categories. Composer Alfred Newman is second with 43, and composer John Williams, nominated this year for his score for “Catch Me if You Can,” is third with 42.
