Pat Robertson to Have Surgery
Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson has prostate cancer and plans to undergo surgery Monday.
“After extensive tests, it has been determined that the cancer does not appear to have metastasized beyond the prostate,” his Christian Broadcasting Network said in a statement Thursday.
Robertson, who will turn 73 in March, announced his condition to his television audience, saying that “I am going into surgery on Monday, and I would appreciate your prayers.” He added that he hopes to be back to a full schedule within two weeks.
