Jockey Longden’s Services Feb. 24
Services for Johnny Longden, once horse racing’s winningest jockey, will be at 11 a.m. Feb. 24 at the Church of the Good Shepherd, at Duarte Road and Holly Avenue in Arcadia.
Longden died Friday, on his 96th birthday.
The family has asked that, instead of flowers, memorial donations be sent either to the Shoemaker Foundation or to Hospice, 264 N. Highland Spring Ave., Suite 4B, Banning, CA 92220.
