Kerry Goes Home After Prostate Cancer Surgery

Democratic presidential hopeful John F. Kerry was released from a Baltimore hospital after surgery to remove his cancerous prostate, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The Massachusetts senator, 59, underwent surgery Wednesday at Johns Hopkins Hospital. His surgeon said the cancer had not spread.
Kerry, one of six Democrats seeking the party’s nomination to challenge President Bush in 2004, said he is confident of resuming campaigning soon.
