From Times Staff and Wire Reports
The state parks commission voted 5 to 0 Friday to approve a restoration plan for the 46 cottages and surrounding property at the Crystal Cove Historic District.
The restoration plan calls for turning nearly half of the cottages at the last intact example of a Southern California beach colony into lodgings that will be available to the public for about $100 a night.
The plan for Crystal Cove, between Corona del Mar and Laguna Beach, will now go to the California Coastal Commission for final approval.
