‘The Hours’ wins Scripter Award

Three days after winning the Golden Globe Award as best dramatic film of 2002, “The Hours” picked up another prize Wednesday, winning the 15th annual USC Scripter Award for movie adaptation. The prize went to David Hare, who wrote the screenplay, and to Michael Cunningham, who wrote the novel on which it was based. They’ll be honored at a dinner on the USC campus March 15.
