No room for the tween scene

I was certainly intrigued by how Orlando Brown spends his weekends “rolling” with his boy Curtis in his Tahoe (with Mom in the passenger seat), or his other boy Marcus of “Moesha” fame in either his Explorer or 500 Benz (My Favorite Weekend, Jan. 16). The boys then “kick it” around the malls with the girls who shower our boy Orlando with love because he is the one on “That’s So Raven.” Oh my!

But what really captivated me was the rap sampler of what I am sure is going to be a big hit among those who are rolling and kicking it. Somehow, the sampler did not remind me of a Shakespearean sonnet, let alone even a Bee Gees’ lyric. Even in the entertainment section, I expect more from a serious newspaper than this drivel.
