Re “Congress Approves Medicare Overhaul,” June 27:
Has anyone noticed how fast Congress agreed to authorize the president to invade Iraq versus the many years it has debated about prescription drug benefits for the elderly?
My fellow Americans, wake up and demand the same health care that the millionaires in Congress receive and for which we suckers pay. Do not settle for crumbs. If this nation of ours can afford wars all over the globe, it can afford decent health care for its citizens.
