Sniper Suspect’s Trial Moved to Virginia Beach
From Times Wire Reports
The trial of sniper suspect John Allen Muhammad was moved to Virginia Beach, where the judge in the case hopes to find a jury untouched by the fear and anxiety that gripped the Washington suburbs last fall.
The move from Manassas means neither sniper suspect will be tried in the region where prosecutors allege they killed 10 people and wounded three others in October. Lee Boyd Malvo’s trial was moved to Chesapeake.
Muhammad’s trial is scheduled to begin Oct. 14.
