Ex-Mayor Bradley’s Nephew Shot to Death

The nephew of former Compton Mayor Omar Bradley was shot and killed Friday as he stood on a street corner, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Jamal Bradley, 30, was shot in the torso about 11:50 a.m. at Sloan Avenue and Palmer Street, according to a brief statement by sheriff’s Sgt. Harry Vann.
An unknown male approached Bradley and fired several times, then fled in a brown vehicle, authorities said.
