Gun May Be Connected to Missing Baylor Player
From Times Wire Services
Police are investigating whether a handgun found at an apartment complex is related to the disappearance of a Baylor University basketball player, authorities said.
Waco Police Sgt. Ryan Holt said a maintenance worker at the complex found the 9-millimeter gun Thursday. Holt said detectives are tracking the serial number to see whether the gun belonged to Patrick Dennehy, who has been missing since mid-June, or to any of his friends.
Harvey Thomas, who also played basketball for Baylor, lived at the complex.
