From Times Wire Reports

Canadian police who have spent more than a year digging for bodies at the pig farm of alleged serial killer Robert Pickton expanded the search to a new property linked to the case.

Investigators began probing an area near the Fraser River in Mission, British Columbia, about 40 miles east of Vancouver and about 20 miles from Pickton’s farm in Port Coquitlam.

Pickton, 53, has been charged in the slaying of 15 women, mostly drug addicts and sex workers, who disappeared without a trace from Vancouver over the past two decades. He was arrested in February 2002.

The evidence that links Pickton to the new search site was revealed in his pretrial hearing, but the news media are prohibited by a court order from publishing details.
