* Handspring Inc., maker of the Treo combination phone and digital organizer, said its fourth-quarter loss narrowed as it drastically scaled back sales of Treo in anticipation of a new product line. Mountain View, Calif.-based Handspring, which is being acquired by rival Palm Inc., said its net loss was $13 million, or 9 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $15.4 million, or 11 cents, a year ago. Revenue fell 70% to $14.5 million.
