Farmer Will Be Tried on 15 Murder Counts

A farmer will go on trial for 15 counts of murder in the worst serial killing in Canadian history, a judge announced at a preliminary hearing. Judge David Stone spoke to a packed Vancouver courtroom as police continued their investigation.
Robert Pickton, 53, is accused of killing 15 women, mostly drug addicts and sex workers, who disappeared without a trace from the Vancouver area over two decades.
