Man Arrested With Cache of Ammunition

A man who allegedly threatened his former girlfriend after she broke off their relationship was arrested in her home with 21,000 rounds of ammunition, police said.
Police arrested John Ross Earnest, 45, of Richmond, on Thursday after breaking down the door of the woman’s home and finding him cowering next to her bed in a locked bedroom.
The woman told police that Earnest had called her repeatedly since their breakup, threatening to blow up her house with the ammunition stored there.
